As an aggressive player, I have found out a number of valuable lessons while betting over the the last couple of years. Regardless if you prefer to gambling at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the many internet casinos. Here are my golden rules of gaming, most of which can be deemed common sense, but if accepted they will help you go a long distance to leaving with money in your account.

Rule one: Go into a casino with a predetermined number that you are ready and can afford to use – How much would you pay for an evening out on food, cocktails, cover fees and tips? This is a great sum to use.

Rule two: Do not take your credit card out with you – or any other way of withdrawing cash out. Do not worry about money for the taxi if you lose all of it; most taxi operators, specifically the taxis hailed by casinos, will take you home and are more than happy to wait for the cash when you get home.

Rule three: Stay to an upper cutoff. I always envision what I would want to buy should I succeed. The last time I went, I concluded I’d quite love to buy a new Media Player which retailed at $400, so that was my upper limit. As soon as I achieved that number, I stopped. Just walk away. Even if Mystic Megan herself tells you the next number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and leave. Depart safe in the knowledge that you will be heading into town and buying a great brand-new toy!

Rule 4: Enjoy yourself. When you’re "enthusiastic" you usually will win. It’s a certainty. I do not understand the reason why, but it clearly is. As soon as it feels like a commitment, or you are simply betting to acquire $$$$ you have lost, you usually will fritter away even more. When you’re succeeding, experiencing a great experience with your buddies, or your boyfriend, you usually will earn even more.
